木之本桜 Sakura Kinomoto
カードキャプターさくらの主人公、木之本桜という名前について考察してみたいと思います。

桜は花のさくらのことですが、日本の女の子の名前としてとてもポピュラーです。
日本の国花でもあり、皆んなに愛される美しい花なので、主人公のさくらにピッタリの名前ですよね。

少し気になるのは「木之本桜」というと、『桜の樹の下には』を思い起こしてしまうことでしょうか、、

CLAMP先生がこの小説を想起しないとは考えにくいですが、「カードキャプターさくら」は青年漫画ではなく少女向けの少女漫画なので、重い裏設定などは無いと信じたいと思います。笑
It’s hard to imagine that Mr. CLAMP wouldn’t recall this novel, but “Cardcaptor Sakura” isn’t a young man’s manga, but a shoujo’s manga for young girls, so I’d like to believe that there’s no heavy backstory. smile
